Shinseong Tongsang (CEO Yeom Tae-soon) announced on the 21st that its SPA brand, TOPTEN KIDS (TOPTEN10 KIDS), has launched a children’s water safety campaign titled “Safety Starts with Me” in collaboration with the Korea Coast Guard.

The joint campaign aims to provide essential water safety information and guidelines to families with children ahead of the busy summer vacation season, while also fostering public awareness and empathy around the prevention of maritime accidents.

As part of the campaign, TOPTEN KIDS and the Korea Coast Guard have co-produced and released an animated video that introduces water safety rules children can follow on their own. Featuring the Korea Coast Guard’s mascots, Haenuri and Haeuri, the video explains key safety habits such as wearing a life jacket, warming up before swimming, and cooling down after water activities—all tailored to a child’s perspective.

To further engage the public, a quiz event linked to the campaign video will be held, where participants can win a special TOPTEN KIDS “Survival Swimming Kit.” To enter, viewers simply need to watch the “Safety Starts with Me” campaign video and leave the correct quiz answer as a comment on the official Instagram event posts of both the Korea Coast Guard and TOPTEN KIDS.

Kang Seok-gyun, Head of the TOPTEN Business Division, stated, “TOPTEN KIDS has been consistently running campaigns for children, such as the 'SAVE ENERGY' campaign focused on energy conservation, and the 'SAFE KIDS' campaign for traffic safety. Through this collaboration with the Korea Coast Guard, we hope that the 'Safety Starts with Me' campaign helps children develop safe water habits and prevent marine accidents, especially during the peak summer vacation season.”
